Catcher spent majority of season in Triple-A

DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers today announced the club has traded catcher Dusty Ryan to the San Diego Padres for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
Ryan saw action with the Tigers and Triple A Toledo during the 2009 season. He batted .154 (4x26) with four RBI in 12 games with the Tigers and batted .257 (52x202) with 10 home runs and 35 RBI in 63 games with the Mud Hens.
