The Great Lakes Loons are saddened to learn of the death of former pitcher Jonathan Figueroa, a left-hander who spent part of the 2007 season with the Loons.

The Dayton Dragons wrapped up the regular season with a 4-3 victory over the Great Lakes Loons Monday afternoon at Dow Diamond.

Russell reaches milestone in Loons' victory   

A two-run triple in the sixth inning drove in the 100th and 101st runs of the season for Great Lakes Loons outfielder Kyle Russell and broke a 2-2 tie as the Loons beat the Dayton Dragons, 9-2, in front of another sellout crowd of 5,570 at Dow Diamond on Saturday night.
