(AP) -- EASTPOINTE, Mich. (AP) - A young man accused of a summer crime spree in the Detroit area is returning to court for a hearing on a murder charge. Ihab Maslamani is accused of randomly abducting Matt Landry and stealing his car from a parking lot in Eastpointe in August. The body of the 21-year-old Chesterfield Township man was found in Detroit four days later.

A judge in Eastpointe scheduled a hearing Thursday to determine if the 17-year-old Maslamani will go to trial on six charges, including murder during a felony.

In two other cases, he's accused of bank robbery and other crimes. Maslamani was an escapee from a Wayne County juvenile facility at the time of his arrest in August.
