MSP investigate double stabbing

CARO -- The investigation continues in a double stabbing in Caro.

 

Michigan State Police report they received a 911 call around 1:00 pm Saturday for a stabbing in progress in the area of East Dayton Rd. between Ryan and Weeden roads.  

 

When police arrived at the scene, they found a 37 year old man and a 33 year old woman, both from Mt. Morris, who had been stabbed.

 

The two were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  The woman was transported to Covenant Hospital in Saginaw for surgery where she is in stable condition.

 

The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.  She was transported to Hills and Dales Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  She was transferred to Health Source in Saginaw for further evaluation.

 

The incident remains under investigation.
