(AP) -- WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A former Oakland County high school theater coordinator has been charged with having sexual contact with a student.
Brian C. Drake was arraigned Monday in Waterford District Court on three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Waterford School District spokeswoman Rhonda Lessel says Drake resigned Sept. 15.
Defense lawyer Todd Fox tells The Oakland Press of Pontiac he doesn't want to comment before thoroughly reviewing the case. Drake is due back in court Thursday.
Drake managed the performing arts centers at Mott and Kettering high schools.
Waterford police Chief Daniel McCaw says incidents happened in May and June and came to police attention last month.
