AKRON VILLAGE -- The boil water alert for Akron Village in Tuscola County has been canceled.  This comes after the village water tested postive for E-Coli earlier this week.

The MDEQ reports extensive tests and sanitization have been performed on the water.  Residents are now able to drink and use the water as normal.
