Luke Sorrelle, Terry Culpepper complete Naval Nuclear training

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Luke T. Sorrelle, son of Stephen M. Sorrelle of Byron Center, Mich., and Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Bradley A. Culpepper, son of Cheryl A. and Terry W. Culpepper of Grand Blanc, Mich., recently completed Naval Nuclear Power Training Pipeline.

During the course with Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, N. Y, Sorrelle and Culpepper received instruction about nuclear theory, chemistry, physics, reactor operations, safety and security. Upon completion of the course, Sorrelle and Culpepper qualified as a Naval nuclear operator.

Sorrelle is a 2004 graduate of Tri-Unity Christian School of Wyoming, Mich. and joined the Navy in April 2008. Culpepper is a 2006 graduate of Carman-Ainsworth High School of Flint, Mich. and joined the Navy in March 2007.
