Members of a local church hit the road walking towards their goal of a 180 thousand square foot Bible museum in mid-Michigan.  The Immanuel Baptist Church of Corunna is just one of many Michigan churches putting on Museum Walks around the state throughout the year.

The purpose of the walks is to raise money to help the Corunna organization Bible Nation Society build the National Museum of Bible History.  Organizers say there is no suitable museum honoring the Bible and its influence in our country, lives, and families.  They want to change that.

They have not determined where the massive facility expected to feature movies, interactive exhibits, and a full history of the Bible will be built for certain, but plan to build it in the Birch Run area.

Walkers got a sneak peak at the model church leaders hope will become a reality,  drawing thousands to learn about the bible and its history.
