LAPEER -- An international effort landed 27-year-old Victor Andrade in the Lapeer County jail on second degree homicide charges. Andrade has been on the run, in Mexico, since a September 2002 car accident. Andrade ran a stop sign and crashed into a car carrying Renee Woodard. The 17-year-old Lapeer County girl died in the accident.

America's Most Wanted featured Andrade's case in November of 2006 and several tips came into authorities. He was finally arrested in May of this year. But, prosecutors were just able bring him back to Michigan.

He was arraigned on the charges Friday, in Lapeer County District Court.
