A free day-long event takes place today at the UM-Flint, William S. White Building aimed at helping independent business women (and men too!) get ahead. Here's a rundown of the day's activities, followed by contact information.

Agenda:

9:30-10:00 am Registration & Welcome, treats from Rolls-R-Ready.

10:15-11:30 am Morning Breakout Sessions:

Lessons In "Professional Surfing": Learn how to increase your business by
embracing internet marketing and adding it into your current marketing mix.

Covering Your Assets: Starting a business carries certain liabilities, and
